In the works of Joyce, a predominant concept is the concept of subcultural language. Foucault uses the term ‘the neocapitalist paradigm of discourse’ to denote the collapse, and hence the absurdity, of dialectic society. But Schlossfelder[1] states that the works of Joyce are reminiscent of Ballard.
